Meet Our Skilled Veterinarians

Dr. Shafer-Ray received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994.

Dr. Brown was born and raised in Antlers Oklahoma. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 from Oklahoma State University. She has a special interest in animal behavior. She lives in Norman with her Yorkie, Murphy, and her Sheltie, Tag.

Dr. Mead graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011. Since graduation, she has practiced in Massachusetts, Texas, and now Oklahoma. Dr. Mead has a special interest in preventative medicine, dermatology, and internal medicine.

Dr. Monismith was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She attended Oklahoma State University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.

Dr. Birdwell graduated from Ross University in 2018. He has also practiced in Georgia and Massachusetts before coming to Oklahoma. Dr. Birdwell joined MSVH February 2023.
